If you have concerns about your pet’s behaviour, Portland Vets can help. We have two members of staff that have a special interest in pet behaviour and how they can help owners to manage these issues. Contact our Edenbridge clinic now to get your pet booked in.
Once you contact our practice, our reception team will put you in contact with Annabel or Emma – to read more about their role with us here then visit our Meet our Team page. They will discuss appointment options and pricing so that you can make an informed decision about how you best proceed with your pet’s appointment. Following this, you will need to complete a behaviour questionnaire via email, which will be evaluated before any advice is given.
Based on the results of your survey, your pet may be referred to a certified clinical animal behaviourist if their case is deemed high-risk. However, depending on your survey results, Annabel or Emma may be able to provide behavioural advice and tips following guidance from a certified clinical animal behaviourist.
Furthermore, if Annabel or Emma believe your pet would benefit from a veterinary examination to rule out pain as a root cause of the behavioural problem then this will be advised.
Annabel is based at our East Grinstead practice and Emma is based at our Horley practice, so when booking your appointment, chat to our friendly reception team about which of our practices would be more suitable for you and your pet. Pricing is as follows:
