We have state-of-the-art ultrasound and digital X-Ray machines at Edenbridge that our vets use for the non-invasive examination of hard structures like bones, internal organs and cavities. Many of our vets have also undertaken specialised training in using this advanced diagnostic imaging equipment.
We use the digital X-Ray to create and view static images and Ultrasound for video or static images. Both sets of equipment are non-invasive and allow us to diagnose issues on-site, quickly and with accuracy.
As our diagnostic imaging techniques are non-invasive, the procedures minimise discomfort to our patients. Having all the equipment and expertise we need onsite means we don’t have to move patients, which further reduces stress.
The speed and accuracy with which we can capture images allows our vets to detect even subtle abnormalities with precision.
The use of diagnostic imaging can make a huge difference to clinical outcomes which is why we recommend that our clients consider Pet Insurance to help cover the cost of unexpected treatments.*
