Exotics & Small Furries Referrals
We provide an Exotics Referral Clinic every Wednesday and Friday, led by Helen, our RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine. This service is ideal for complex cases requiring advanced diagnostics and care. Referrals from non-Portland clients can be made by your primary care veterinarian.
Species We Treat
- Small Mammals — Rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, ferrets, hedgehogs, degus, and sugar gliders
- Reptiles — Snakes, lizards, geckos, bearded dragons, skinks, monitors, tortoises, turtles, and terrapins
- Birds — Parrots, macaws, cockatoos, Amazons, budgies, cockatiels, canaries, finches, chickens, ducks, geese, and birds of prey
- Amphibians — Frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, and axolotls
- Invertebrates — Tarantulas, spiders, stick insects, leaf insects, scorpions, giant African land snails, and aquatic invertebrates
- Fish — Koi, goldfish, pond fish, and tropical fish
