Rianne is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses who graduated from Central College of Animal Studies in 2025 and brings 9 years of veterinary experience. With a strong passion for animal care, Rianne turned her lifelong dream into a fulfilling career after being inspired by RVNs during her first role in the veterinary field.
She has a particular interest in anaesthesia and medical nursing, especially caring for inpatients and supporting them through recovery. Rianne holds a BSc in Zoology, further strengthening her clinical knowledge and understanding of animal health.
Her favourite aspects of the job include placing IVs, taking blood samples, and most importantly, seeing animals recover and improve after her care and intervention. She finds great reward in knowing she has played a direct role in a patient’s recovery.
Rianne’s approach to patient care is rooted in calm handling and behavioural awareness. She focuses on understanding each animal’s cues to tailor her care, always treating patients with the same compassion and attention she would give her own pets.
At home, Rianne has two cats, Ace and Indie, who no doubt benefit from her attentive and loving nature.
Outside of work, she enjoys baking, walking, reading, and playing video games. She’s also an adventurous spirit, having completed both a sponsored skydive and a wing walk for charity!
