Nick

Nick joined the Portland team at the end of summer 2025 and brings with him a strong foundation in both soft‑tissue and orthopaedic surgery. After graduating from the RVC in 2020, he gained wide‑ranging experience across clinical practice, including significant work in exports and pet travel. Nick also holds a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, further strengthening his surgical expertise. He has spent time working closely with greyhounds too, developing a real appreciation for their unique needs and characteristics.

Outside of work, Nick is passionate about all things sport — whether he’s playing or cheering from the sidelines — and freely admits he’s more than a little competitive. He plays for a local Saturday league football team and regularly trains at the gym with his wife. At home, they share life with their two sweet dogs, Angus and Charlie, and their very independent cat, Brian.
