Christina

Christina qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in January 2020 and has been fortunate to work alongside many talented veterinary professionals, caring for a wide variety of pets in both first-opinion and referral practices throughout her career.

She joined the wonderful Portland team in January 2026 and has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her colleagues, clients, and their beloved pets. Christina has always had a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes—whether fluffy, feathered, or scaly—and she treats every patient as if they were her own.

Veterinary nursing is truly a profession from the heart. Helping poorly pets recover and reuniting them with their families is one of the most rewarding aspects of her role; her particular interests are in inpatient care, nurse consultations, and surgical nursing.

At home, she shares her life with her husband, a cheeky cat called Otis, who was handed over as a five-week-old stray and quickly found his forever home with Christina, and Barney, a handsome Dalmatian, whose tail never stops wagging and has the cheesiest smile!
