Carina began her journey at Portland Vets in 2025, bringing a unique perspective after transitioning from a business background. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2023 and quickly advanced her expertise, achieving advanced practitioner status in the nursing of small mammals in 2025. She is currently working toward advanced practitioner recognition in Avian nursing.
Passionate about the care of all exotic species, Carina is a dedicated advocate for their welfare. Outside of work, she enjoys attending live music events and dancing with infectious enthusiasm.
