1) The first step is to contact our reception team who will pass your details across to either Annabel or Emma – both staff members have a keen interest in understanding pet behaviour. Visit our Meet our Team page to find out more about Annabel and Emma.
2) After an initial discussion of appointment times, locations, pricing and a brief overview of the issue, you will be sent a behaviour questionnaire via email to complete about your pet.
3) Portland Vets will then review your questionnaire results and advise one of the following:
Our reception team will be able to advise you on what appointments are available at each of our branches, however if you would like to book your pet in specifically at our Horley branch, then you will find the pricing information is below.
Emma conducts the behavioural consults at our Horley branch. There is a charge of £109 for a double consultation of 30 minutes and this also includes the interpretation of the behaviour questionnaire.
If immediate referral is required, there will be no further fees. However, if further guidance is required from a certified clinical animal behaviourist, there is a charge of £27.30.
