Annual dental check-ups with one of Horley’s vets combined with regular brushing of your pet’s teeth at home will help to maintain the all-important oral health of your pet.
Our Horley veterinary surgery is equipped with the latest dental equipment.
Our vets and nurses are very happy to share all their expertise and experience with you to help keep your pet’s mouth in great shape.
Regular dental check-ups with our vets should be backed up by brushing your pet’s teeth as often as possible at home. Brushing is the single most effective method of removing the plaque that leads to gum disease.
However, if you find daily brushing difficult or your pet won’t tolerate it, there are products you can use to augment or partly replace brushing. Ask us about special dental diets or water additives and rinses that can be used in addition to brushing. Dental chews and toys can also be used to help your pet maintain their oral hygiene.
