Crawley Update July 2024
Welcome to our July newsletter. We hope you are enjoying the summer with your pets and coping with our changeable weather, 3 day heat waves followed by torrential rain, then back to sunny days! July has been hard work for our build team, literally digging deep, but we are making fantastic progress.
Ground-breaking (literally) Progress
We’re thrilled to share exciting updates on the construction of our new, independent veterinary practice!
The initial groundwork, while essential, hasn’t been the most visually appealing for passers by, simply because most of the work has been happening below ground. Our hard-working build team has been busy reinforcing the basement, and we’re excited to announce that this phase is nearing completion. Soon, you’ll start to see the physical form of your new vet practice emerge from above ground.
A Small Inconvenience, A Big Reward
To bring essential services to our new practice, we’ll be temporarily digging up the road outside on [date]. We understand this may cause some disruptions, and we sincerely apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that we’re doing everything possible to minimise the impact. The end result – a beautiful purpose built, environmentally friendly independent veterinary practice serving the Crawley community – will be worth it!
Parking and Peace of Mind
We’re committed to making your visits to Portland Vets Crawley as stress-free as possible. That’s why we’ve designed an ample car park with 21 spaces, including designated disabled bays and level access. To enhance the overall experience, we’ll also be adding beautiful landscaping to create a welcoming atmosphere. Anything else you would like to see, let us know?
Join Our Mission: Crawley Emergency Vets
We’re thrilled to announce that our first online forum for pet owners is fully booked and fast approaching (this Thursday 7pm)! The overwhelming response is a testament to the need for a non-profit, local emergency vet service. We’re determined to make Crawley Emergency Vets a reality and the joining link has already been sent out to all who registered.
If you missed out, we still have some spaces left on a first come first serve basis. Don’t worry, you wont be on screen and all mics are off, so you can join even if you are camera shy or in your PJ’s! We want to hear from you though, after all that’s why we’ve decided to do this forum, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask your questions throughout via the Q&A.
